What The Collect is

The Collect publishes opinions about horse races — selections, commentary and statistics produced by our analysis. We are not a bookmaker, we do not accept bets, and we do not handle your money beyond your subscription.

Not financial advice, no guarantees

Our selections are opinions based on evidence. They are not guarantees, not predictions of certainty, and not financial advice. Racing involves genuine risk: horses lose, favourites get beaten, and losing runs happen to every method. Past performance — including the results and streaks we publish — is no guarantee of future results. You alone are responsible for any bet you place.

Age and responsibility

The Collect is strictly for people aged 18 and over. By using it you confirm you are 18+. Never bet more than you can afford to lose. See our responsible gambling page for support services.

Subscriptions and payment

Membership is $25 per week, billed weekly in advance to the card you provide. New members start with a 7-day free trial: you add a card when you join, you are not charged during the trial, and your first weekly payment is taken at the end of the 7 days unless you cancel before then. Founding members who joined before launch receive their first month free, after which the standard $25 per week applies.

You can cancel any time from your account — no contracts, no minimum term. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the week you have already paid for, and we do not charge again after that. If we ever fail to publish picks on a normal race day, contact us and we will extend your access to cover it. Refunds beyond this are at our discretion and never based on race results — losing days are part of racing, not a fault in the service.

Fair use

Your access is personal. Sharing, republishing or on-selling our picks, commentary or data — including screenshots to public groups — is not permitted and may end your access without refund.

Accuracy

We work from official racing data. Scratchings, track changes and late market moves can overtake anything published; always confirm details with the TAB before betting. We may correct, update or withdraw content at any time.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, The Collect is not liable for betting losses or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
